1. Non-toxic:
One of the best qualities of our organic Castile Soap is its all-natural and organic formulation. Because it’s free from toxic ingredients like artificial foaming agents, preservatives, petrochemicals, synthetic detergents and colours, you’re doing the environment a favour as well as your skin. Most commercial soaps use toxic sulphates to get that lather we're all used to, but castile soap foams naturally - no chemicals needed. Instead, this soap is loaded with high-quality natural organic oils like olive, coconut and castor oil, which naturally cleanse and moisturise the skin.
2. Safe for sensitive skin:
Since castile soap is made from safe and organic botanical oils, it’s safe to use for dry and sensitive skin types. It’s also gentle enough for people with skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis.
3. Free radical protection:
Free radicals are unstable molecules that damage skin cells from harmful substances such as pollution, toxins, smog, dust, cigarette smoke and the sun. Most commercial soaps are made from animal fats (mostly pig fat), yes that sounds disgusting, but unfortunately it’s true. Our soaps are fully plant-based and made only from botanical oils, and are therefore 100% vegan. Thankfully, animal testing is banned in the EU, but because our soaps are made from organic plant-based oils, they are naturally harmless to humans and animals. Unfortunately, animal testing is still allowed in the US, but by switching to our Castile Soap, you are supporting a movement towards animal safety, as it never requires animal testing.
